Noor is a global leader with a cultural and economic interest in the world, derived from international exposure spanning a professional lifetime as a practicing lawyer and advisor to law firms in Indonesia and the Singapore community. She is a leading legal practitioner in Asia and a trusted advisor with an inspirational legal mind and deep transactional experience.

A member of the Singapore Bar with a law degree from The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Noor is an active supporter of charities that focus on the betterment of communities for women, children and those in crisis.

Noor is one of Asia's leading legal practitioners, having advised in MnA and in general corporate practice within South East Asia since 1989. Noor has practiced law in Singapore, Auckland and Jakarta. She advises major Indonesian and global corporations, among others, in general commercial law, cross-border investment and negotiations, government and regulatory matters and the Indonesian process towards dispute resolution.

Noor is also well known for her expertise in Indonesian negotiations and in infrastructure and is regularly recognized as a leading lawyer in legal publications. She is highly valued by clients for her significant Indonesian and regional experience. During her time in Indonesia, Noor participated in, and led, various Indonesian and regional business and industry groupings.

Si Han Song
International Business Director - Korea

Si Han has over 40 years of international experience in politics and business.

After receiving his Master Degree in Foreign Studies from Hankook University of Foreign Study and in Politics from Kookmin Graduate School, his career as a Diplomat spanned for almost 30 years in various countries including Indonesia, China, Hong Kong and Russia. He was also trusted to serve in the Geopolitical Services. and Northeast Asian Development.

In 2003, he started his entrepreneurial career, after almost three decades serving as a diplomat, by founding a company named Genesis in the U.S.A. and served as the Chairman.

His international experience in business also led him to Indonesia where he was appointed to be the President Director of Jinro, the distributor of alcoholic beverages from South Korea and as the President of Sucofindo Korea. He is also served as Special Commissar Indonesia for DSME E&R.

His expansive knowledge and experience in civil service as well as the private sector will benefit Melchor in seizing more opportunities internationally, especially in Korea.

Roger Suyama

Associate Director - M&A, Capital Markets

Roger Suyama, had been a Senior Managing Director in Investment Banking and was in charge of Southeast Asia, and Indonesia investment banking for Merrill Lynch & Co and President Director of PT Merrill Lynch, from 1987-1999 and from 2004 -2009. He had been with Merrill Lynch for over 17 years and had done some of the largest transactions in Asia . During the last five years at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America, he raised over $9 billion in M&A, structured transactions, equity and debt.

He arrived in Asia in 1993, and started Merrill Lynch’s investment banking operations in Indonesia. He originated and executed two of the largest IPOs out of Asia: the US$1.1 billion IPO of Indosat, the first NYSE and Jakarta Stock Exchange offering out of Indonesia and the US$1.8 billion IPO of PT Telekom, at the time, the largest non-Japan IPO out of Asia.

He was also the co-creator of the CELLS (“Collateralized Equity Leverage Loans”) financial product which became a central point of the first Harvard Business Case study for Indonesia on the buy-out of Medco International.

Prior to working for Merrill Lynch in 2004, Roger Suyama was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in 2003 – 2004. He started at Merrill Lynch in 1987, as analyst in the Financial institutions group in San Francisco.

Currently Roger Suyama is also the Managing Director with Astor Bridge Advsory, PLC (“ABA”). ABA currently gives an on-going advisory work with the Sinar Mas Group.

Roger Suyama knowledege in financial, M&A and Capital Investment will strengthen Melchor capabilitites in the investment management field.

Jaka Santos
Associate Director - Government Relations & Public Affairs

A PhD holder in Law Studies, started his career and joined the Bureau of Law and Legislation, Cabinet Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia, as a government official with the main function to study, analyze and scrutinize the draft of laws and legislations, and also prepare recommendation for the President of the Republic of Indonesia and relevant members of Cabinet. During his employment in Cabinet secretariat, he was awarded scholarship from AUSAID to study at University of Technology Sydney (1996-1997) and obtained the degree of master in corporate and commercial law (LL.M).

He joined the Indonesian Banking Restructuring Agency (“IBRA”) in 2000 as Head of Legal at the Asset Management Investment (“AMI”) Legal Division. Responsible for negotiating support, providing legal opinion, counseling, reviewing agreements and analyzing problems.

Over 25 years proven expertise in legal (corporate and commercial law) aspects related to finance, banking and corporate industry, he is furnished with a valued experience within a real sector industry, specifically the finance and banking (IBRA), oil and gas (PT. ELNUSA), construction services (PT WIMAXINDO) as well as airline industry (PT. Garuda Indonesia Group).

Jaka Santos also actively involved in management and advisory role of several social and education institutions. He was appointed to be the Director of Postgraduate School, of University of Djuanda, Bogor.

His vast and proven experience is a valuable asset for Melchor to dealing with authorities , state owned enterprise , media and to influence public policy, build and maintain a strong reputation and find common ground with stakeholders and able to execute complex projects.

Ridwan Dalimunthe

Ahmad Ridwan Dalimunthe
Advisor - Government Relations

Ridwan, Master Management degree holder from the university of Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta, started his entrepreneurship career in the creative industry in Yogyakarta, focusing to bring and promote Batik and local hand-crafted souvenirs to the international market. During his entrepreneurship career he is also active in the government organization as an expert staff mostly at The People's Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia, Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, National Economic Committee , and Indonesia Economic Forum which is lead by Chairul Tanjung. During which he is also active as an expert staff for the former minister of industry YM Saleh Husin.

Because of his extensive experience as an expert staff at government organization, he is chosen to be the advisor of Garuda Indonesia, Citilink, First Media and TransVision in 2015. And because of his exceptional skill, he is also assigned as the News Director at DetikNetwork, CNN Indonesia and CNBC Indonesia in 2017.

Currently he is still active at CT Corp as a Commissioner at DetikNetwork (detik.com), the largest Online News Portal in Indonesia.

His vast and exceptional skill set is a valuable asset for Melchor for dealing with government authorities and state owned enterprise.

Hans Nugroho
Advisor - Finance & Marketing

Hans Nugroho started his career at a banking and finance institution in Australia as an Accountant. In 1982, he returned to Indonesia because he was appointed as the General Manager for Indomobil Group (the largest and leading automotive company in Indonesia).

He caught his big break in his career during his time at Bimantara Group (one of Indonesia's biggest conglomerate) as a Finance Director. During his 12 years at Bimantara Group is where he met Peter F Gontha, whom he considered as his mentor up until now.

Thanks to his expertise in the finance and banking sector, he rose to prominence in various conglomerate groups in Indonesia. In 2002, he was assigned as the Director at First Media, a subsidiary of Lippo Group. His interests in the airline industry, led him to be the Director of Citilink Indonesia, a low-cost carrier owned by Garuda Indonesia.

His vast experience in different sectors of conglomerate groups will be a valuable asset for Melchor, his expansive knowledge in the finance sector will also help Melchor when dealing with various investors.
